The hotel is a little dated, hence the price, but overall it was a good stay. Room was clean and smelled fine. Sheets very clean, bathroom clean. Mini fridge worked great. A/C was cold and water was hot. Plenty of parking and within walking distance to downtown. Coffee shops and Mexican restaurant right across the street. Only problem was that even though the bed felt comfortable our backs were really hurting when we woke up.
Overall this was a solid stay for a weekend in winston-salem and I would recommend it. The AC in my room was on the coldest setting but it felt like normal room temperature. There were plenty of parking spaces and it was right next to everything in the city.
